Qualifying Conditions for the use of Medical Cannabis


The Arizona Medical Marijuana Program currently recognizes the following list of qualifying conditions for granting a medical marijuana identification card:


• Cancer

• Glaucoma
• Human immunodeficiency virus
• Acquired immune deficiency syndrome
• Hepatitis C
• Amyotrophic lateral Sclerosis
• Crohn’s disease
• Agitation of Alzheimer’s disease

• Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

IF A CHRONIC OR DEBILITATING DISEASE OR MEDICAL CONDITION OR THE TREATMENT FOR A CHRONIC OR DEBILITATING DISEASE OR MEDICAL CONDITION CAUSES: 
• Severe and chronic pain

• Severe nausea

• Cachexia or wasting syndrome
• Seizures, including those characteristic of epilepsy
• Severe or persistent muscle spasms, including those characteristics of multiple sclerosis
